I’ve got a big Astoria weekend post to do, but it’s not happening tonight. Here’s the food:

  • Breakfast: A breakfast quiche and a salad (?) from the Scorcher Bakery in Astoria. Delicious.
  • Lunch: Seared oysters, french fries and a few raw veggies at Fort George Brewery in Astoria.
  • Dinner: Seafood linguine and a cup of lobster bisque at The Pacific House in Tillamook
  • Drinks: Coffee, water, a beer sampler platter at Fort George (10 beers in tiny glasses), and a wine tasting at the Shallon Winery, which was quite possibly the highlight of our trip

Definitely not vegan, but no land animals, so that’s a minor victory, right? Everything today was very heavy though, so heavy that I felt positively atrocious by the time we were half an hour past dinner. I don’t think it was the seafood so much as the multiple heavy cream sauces in two days.

Goonies pictures and more are on the way, I promise! Shallon Winery might get its own post, it was that unique.
