Here’s an interesting fact about me: I am trying to get up earlier. My ultimate goal is to start exercising in the morning, but I think I’m still a long way from that. Normal alarm time for me is 6:40, which means I’m up by 7:00 (thanks, snooze button!). So today, I set my alarm for 6:30, and I was up by 6:45.

To really be able to exercise before work, I need to be up and ready to step out of my door by 6:00. That seems impossibly early to me right now, so we’ll see how this goes. For now, it gives me time to write inane posts on this blog.

Last night, I ran a total of 2 1/4 miles, which is quite a lot for a lazy dude like me. I’d like to be able to run a 5k sometime soon. I did a total of three miles yesterday, interspersing a bit of walking with all of my running. I refuse to enter a 5k until I can run the entire thing and come in with a non-embarrassing time. Could be awhile.

This is sort of a pointless post. I don’t really know what I want this blog to be just yet, so get ready for some pointlessness. Hopefully, I will pick a direction sometime soon.
